Set a package goal by clicking on the pink Set Your Goal circle. When the circles stop moving, click Set Package Goal. Your leader has entered the number that appears on this page. You can keep this number. Or you can change that number by clicking in the box and typing the number you decide is right for you. Either way, click the Save button, and the goal is recorded. It will appear on the Track Your Goal page too!
If you aren't sure what your package goal should be, click through the section called Learn About Goals or talk to your troop leader.
You can go back to the Set Your Goal page at any time and edit your package goal.

Your personal learning goal is something you want to accomplish during the Cookie Activity beyond selling cookies. A personal learning goal might be to manage money well, recommend recipe tips to your customers, or make a new friend in your troop. You can talk with your leader or another adult about what would make a good personal learning goal for you.
To record your personal learning goal, click on the pink Set Your Goal circle and click on the section called Personal Learning Goal.

A service goal is about you changing the world! Think about what matters to you and to your troop. Do you want to help the environment? Do you want to help kids? Do you want to learn about other cultures? An adult can help you think of a service goal too.

Your personal goal tracker is a fun way to watch your progress. It has a fun graph to display how close you are to reaching your package goal and reminds you of your personal learning goal.

Track Your Goal automatically records sales from your Cookie Planner. You also can submit additional package sales that will be saved in the "Other" list.
"Other sales" means any packages that you didn't record in My Cookie Planner. For example, you may not keep the names of every neighbor in your Cookie Planner, but you may sell a lot of boxes by walking around your neighborhood with an adult. When you get back, you can record those sales in the Track Your Goal section and watch your stack of cookies grow!

My Cookie Planner is a tool to help you keep track of all the people you want to contact during the Cookie Sale. You can record their names, how you plan to contact them, what steps you've taken so far, and what cookies they have ordered. The cookie orders entered in My Cookie Planner are automatically recorded on the Track Your Goal page.

From the main page of My Cookie Planner or within your contact list, click Add Contact. Enter the contact's name and any other information you'd like, such as how you plan to contact them, phone number, favorite cookies, etc.

Congratulations! If you make a sale to somebody in your contact list, go to My Cookie Planner and click My Contact List. In the row with the customer name, click Record Cookie Order. You can keep track of each variety of cookie and how many each person wants.
If you make a sale to somebody who is not in your contact list, you can either add that person to My Cookie Planner or record it as "other sales" on the Track Your Goal page.

You can record Hometown Heroes (or Gift of Caring) sales in My Cookie Planner. You select these “donated boxes” as a cookie type, designated by each contact. Any person in your contact list can contribute these donated boxes. These donated boxes do count towards your total box goal.

Yes, and saving this list is a great way to boost next year's sales. In My Cookie Planner, on the My Cookie Orders page, click the Save Excel file link. This will allow you to export an electronic version of all your contacts and save it for next year.

If you exported your contacts last year, you need to open that document and save it as a "CSV" file. Then, you can upload the list into your Cookie Planner to get started for this year.
How to: Start with your exported spreadsheet from last year, open it up. When this file is open, select to "Save As." It doesn't matter what the file is called, just that you save it as a special kind of spreadsheet, a .csv, which means it will end in those three letters: myfile.csv or plan_summary.csv (it's the ending that counts). A dialog box will open when you request to "Save As." This box will likely have a pull-down menu so you can select to “Save as Type” that you select. In that menu, you want to find the one that ends in CSV. If you use Microsoft Windows, it will probably say something like "CSV (MS-DOS) (*.CSV)." Select that one! Then, choose to save it in a location you can remember and go right back to, like on your desktop. Now, go back to the Cookie Club and "browse" to find that file, then click the "Import Contacts" button. You are done! Go check out your cookie orders and you will see the names and types of cookies people bought last year.

You can remove cookie sales easily if you make a mistake. If you entered a wrong number when you recorded a sale for one of your contacts, just call up that contact's order page and enter the correct numbers, then Save. If you entered a wrong number in the "other sales" field on the Track My Goal page, correct it by entering a negative number there, then clicking the Add button. For example, if you accidently recorded 50 boxes too many, you would enter "-50" and press Add. The system will subtract 50 boxes from your total sold.
